Angelique Power
Angelique Power is the program director for The Joyce Foundation’s culture program which distributes $2 million annually. She focuses on strengthening and diversifying arts organizations, building capacity within the arts sector and investing in creative capital of the artists themselves, of color, through The Joyce Awards.
Angelique came to The Joyce Foundation with more than 15 years of experience and her work at the museum of contemporary art. In today’s episode, I feel like you’re really going to get a firsthand look at somebody who’s deeply immersed in the world of the diversifying the arts.
She shares her perspectives of the complicated world of race as someone who’s lived it and now dedicates her life to helping move the conversation forward in the art’s community. I know you’re going to find this episode really interesting and filled with an insight that most of us don’t get access to.
